A price you can read before you talk to anyone
Agemin publishes its plans: 100 free age verifications a month on the Trial plan, then Core at $0.084 per verification from a $99 monthly minimum. VerifyMy does not publish a price list; its site asks you to contact sales and estimate your monthly check volume (as of September 2026).
An independent lab has measured the facial model
Evaluated in the NIST FATE Age Estimation and Verification track (submission bynn-000, report card updated 3 July 2026): highest True Positive Rate of any evaluated submission in the Child Online Safety 13 to 16 category at 72.53%, with a Mean Absolute Error of 2.094 years. VerifyMy does not appear in the NIST FATE AEV participant list as of 31 July 2026, and publishes its own accuracy figures from internal testing and Age Check Certification Scheme audits instead.
Email age estimation, on both sides
VerifyMy describes email-based age checks as a method it pioneered: an email address, a one-time password to confirm ownership, then analysis of the address’s digital footprint. Agemin also offers email age estimation with no ID and no card. On this method both services hold the same bar, and we think that is exactly how it should be.
VerifyMy offers more ways to verify
VerifyMy lists seven methods, including credit card, mobile number, and name and address checks, and holds PAS 1296:2018 and ISO/IEC 27566-1:2025 certification from the Age Check Certification Scheme plus KJM approval in Germany. Where we agree with VerifyMy: friction is the enemy of compliance
VerifyMy’s product pages make the case that an email address, already collected by most platforms, can carry an age signal without a selfie or a document. Agemin is built on the same conviction. An age check that half your visitors abandon protects nobody, and the method should match the risk of the content rather than default to the heaviest option.
Where the two services differ is in how they ask you to trust the model. VerifyMy publishes white papers with figures from internal testing and points to its Age Check Certification Scheme audits. Agemin submitted its facial age estimation model to NIST’s FATE Age Estimation and Verification track, where it is measured on government datasets the vendor never sees, and publishes the report card link on its site. Both approaches are legitimate; only one of them is run by a party with no commercial interest in the result.
The other difference is commercial. Agemin publishes its prices and gives every account 100 free verifications a month, so you can put the model on real traffic before a conversation with sales. VerifyMy asks for the conversation first.
